This portfolio primarily allocates its capital to companies situated outside the United States, encompassing businesses in developed, emerging, and frontier economies. Typically, a substantial portion—at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowed funds for investment) —is committed to equity-related instruments. These include common and preferred stocks, rights, warrants, and convertible securities (such as Depositary Receipts) issued by non-U.S. entities.
