The Harding Loevner Global Equity Portfolio strategically allocates capital to businesses operating across a diverse range of global economies. This encompasses companies headquartered in the United States and other established developed nations, as well as those found in dynamic emerging and nascent frontier markets. Typically, the fund maintains broad geographical diversification, holding stakes in enterprises spanning a minimum of fifteen different countries. A substantial majority—at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowed funds for investment)—is dedicated to equity-related instruments. This primarily includes common stocks, preferred stocks, subscription rights, and warrants, issued by corporations located both domestically (within the U.S.) and internationally. This allocation also covers securities convertible into such equities, like Depositary Receipts, and interests in other investment vehicles that themselves invest in these core asset types.
