Hood River specifically targets firms that demonstrate significant growth potential or are perceived to be undervalued in the marketplace relative to their intrinsic profitability. Furthermore, at the point of purchase, these companies must possess market capitalizations consistent with those found in the S&P SmallCap 600® Index and the Russell 2000® Growth Index, thereby classifying them as small-cap enterprises.
