The Amundi US$ 10Y Inflation Expectations UCITS ETF - Acc is a UCITS-compliant Exchange Traded Fund designed to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx USD Breakeven 10-Year Inflation Index. This index constructs its exposure by holding a long position in the six latest issuances of U.S. 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) and simultaneously establishing a short position in conventional U.S. Treasury bonds of comparable maturity. The differential in yield between these two bond types is widely recognized as the "breakeven rate of inflation," which provides a market-based estimate of expected inflation over a specific period. As with all Amundi ETFs, this investment vehicle offers investors a transparent, liquid, and low-cost avenue for efficient exposure to its underlying benchmark, trading directly on an exchange.
