This fund's core objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation and provide ongoing income. It typically invests up to three-quarters of its portfolio in stocks chosen primarily for their growth prospects. Simultaneously, at least one-quarter of its holdings are allocated to securities identified by the managers for their income-generating potential. Interestingly, even when selecting equities for growth, the portfolio managers also factor in their capacity to produce income.
