Under typical market conditions, this fund aims to achieve its investment goals by committing a minimum of 80% of its net capital (inclusive of any borrowed funds for investment) to the stocks of companies based in Asia, specifically excluding those from Japan. An "Asian issuer" is generally understood to be a company that is either incorporated or primarily conducts its business in an Asian country; or has its main stock exchange listing in an Asian country; or generates at least 50% of its revenue from, or holds at least 50% of its assets within, one or more Asian nations.
