This fund aims to achieve its investment objective by typically allocating at least 80% of its net assets (plus any capital borrowed for investment) to equity securities issued by companies predominantly based in Asia, with the specific exclusion of Japanese entities. An Asian issuer is generally defined as a company that is either incorporated or conducts its primary business activities in an Asian nation; or is primarily listed for trading on an Asian stock market; or derives 50% or more of its revenue from, or holds 50% or more of its assets in, one or more Asian countries.
