The fund aims to achieve its investment goals by committing a substantial majority—no less than 80%—of its total net assets (including any funds borrowed for investment) to businesses that its portfolio managers believe are well-positioned to capitalize on significant technological progress or improvements. This strategy is primarily implemented by investing in the common stocks (equity securities) of companies, both domestic (U.S.) and international, which are selected for their strong potential for growth. Furthermore, the fund customarily allocates at least 40% of its net assets to companies or entities whose economic interests are connected to various countries around the world, excluding those based in the United States.
