To achieve its financial objectives, this fund generally allocates at least 80% of its net assets (including any capital borrowed for investment purposes) to securities issued by companies or entities based outside the United States. Its holdings typically consist of 30 to 50 different securities from a variety of non-U.S. countries. Nevertheless, under exceptional circumstances, the fund has the discretion to invest nearly all of its assets within a single country. Up to 20% of its net assets, assessed at the time of purchase, may be directed towards U.S. issuers.
