The fund predominantly targets smaller companies for its equity investments, committing at least half of these assets to such firms. It also has the discretion to invest in more established companies that show considerable growth potential. For the purpose of this fund, small-sized companies are defined by the portfolio manager as those whose market capitalization corresponds to the range of companies found within the Russell 2000® Growth Index at the time of their initial acquisition. Furthermore, the fund has the latitude to include international securities in its portfolio, potentially encompassing investments in developing economies.
