The WisdomTree Brent Crude Oil 2x Daily Leveraged is a publicly traded commodity product (ETC) that is fully backed by collateral. Its primary goal is to offer investors magnified daily exposure to the price movements of Brent Crude Oil. Specifically, this ETC seeks to deliver a daily return that is double the performance of the Bloomberg Brent Crude Oil SL Excess Return Index (BCOSLER). This return is then augmented by any interest income generated, but also reduced by the product's associated fees and operational costs. To illustrate, if the BCOSLER index gains 1% in a single day, the ETC would aim to increase by 2% (before accounting for fees). Conversely, a 1% daily decline in the index would typically result in a 2% fall for the ETC, again, prior to fees.
