The Portfolio predominantly allocates its capital to the common stocks and other equity instruments of companies situated outside the United States. These businesses primarily conduct their operations in what are recognized as emerging or developing market countries. Typically, a minimum of 80% of its total assets are dedicated to the equity shares of firms whose principal activities are based in these rapidly expanding global economies.
