This Amundi exchange-traded fund (ETF), which complies with UCITS regulations, aims to replicate the performance of the Solactive Bund Daily (-2x) Inverse Index. The core objective of the index's strategy is to deliver financial results comparable to a daily two-times leveraged short position on 10-Year German Government bonds. This approach is specifically designed to bypass costs typically associated with cash instruments, such as borrowing fees and magnified bid-ask spreads. To achieve this, the index holds a long position in an overnight investment earning the EONIA rate, simultaneously maintaining a double short position in Bund Futures, with the notional values of both components being rebalanced daily. Consistent with other Amundi ETFs, this fund provides investors with an efficient, transparent, liquid, and cost-effective means of gaining exposure to its underlying benchmark index through an exchange listing.
