Its primary objective is to deliver substantial long-term capital appreciation. The fund commits a minimum of 80% of its total net assets, augmented by any funds borrowed for investment, to securities issued by companies either domiciled in China or those that derive a majority (over 50%) of their revenue from Chinese activities. The fund principally invests in equity instruments. Under normal market conditions, the adviser defines equity securities broadly to encompass common and preferred shares, alongside other instruments with equity-like features, including but not limited to equity-linked and participation notes. It is structured as a non-diversified fund.
