To achieve its investment objective, the fund's manager commits at least 80% of its capital to common stocks of micro-capitalization enterprises. These micro-cap companies are precisely defined as those whose market valuation, at the point of acquisition, is less than that of the biggest firm found in the bottom 75% (based on index weightings) of the Russell 2000® Index. Although the primary focus is on U.S. domestic investments, up to a quarter (25%) of the fund's holdings may be allocated to international securities, which can include depositary receipts like ADRs and GDRs.
