This fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its capital to equity investments in smaller companies. It operates as a feeder fund, channeling nearly all its assets into the "Small Company Growth Portfolio," which is a master portfolio. This master portfolio shares an identical investment objective and employs very similar strategies. The fund's primary focus is on shares of small-capitalization companies, which its managers define as firms whose market value falls within the range of the Russell 2000® Index at the time of acquisition.
