The fund largely focuses its investments on international assets, particularly securities from companies located outside the United States. This allocation includes exposure to issuers in developing or "emerging" economies. A key mandate is that a minimum of 65% of its net assets must be dedicated to these foreign investments. While the Advisor primarily targets common stocks, the fund retains the flexibility to diversify into other types of securities. These alternative investments—which a sub-advisor may select for their potential to generate both capital appreciation and income—could include preferred stocks, rights, warrants, depositary receipts, participatory notes, and securities that are convertible into common stocks.
