The fund actively and primarily invests in a broad portfolio of investment-grade debt securities from developed markets, specifically in North America. In seeking capital appreciation, the fund may also hold other debt instruments across the credit spectrum such as international fixed-income securities, preferred shares, convertibles, and junk bonds provided that it will not exceed 30% of the portfolio. Allocation and maturity is at the discretion of the manager, but the fund will aim to consist of at least 70% core fixed-income securities at all times.
