The fund is designed to primarily invest in companies with moderate market capitalizations, dedicating at least 80% of its total net assets to such businesses. MFS establishes its definition of these mid-sized companies by comparing their market values to those found within the Russell Midcap® Growth Index, specifically considering their valuations over the prior 13-month period at the point of investment.
