Its main strategy involves investing, under normal market conditions, in derivative instruments tied to commodities. These derivatives are underpinned by a diversified portfolio that includes inflation-indexed securities and various other fixed-income assets. Such fixed-income holdings comprise a wide range of debt instruments, like bonds and other securities, issued by public or private sector entities in both the U.S. and other countries. The fund also has the option to deploy capital into commodity index-linked notes, which can be structured with or without leverage.
