The fund aims to outperform the Russell 1000® Value Index in terms of total return under normal market circumstances. It achieves this by primarily investing in a portfolio of U.S. company equities, further enhanced by an absolute return bond strategy. Up to 25% of its total assets may be directed towards securities or instruments economically linked to emerging market countries. To manage risk, the fund typically restricts its foreign currency exposure, arising from non-U.S. dollar-denominated assets or currencies, to a maximum of 35% of its total holdings.
