PXS primarily invests in equity shares of U.S. companies with the objective of replicating the RAFI Fundamental Select US 1000 Index. The index establishes company weightings through the assessment of four fundamental financial metrics indicative of a firm's scale: adjusted revenue, adjusted cash flow, the sum of dividends and share buybacks, and the combined total of book value and intangible assets.
