The fund is passively managed to hold bonds issued by emerging market sovereigns or government-related entities. The index only includes USD-denominated debt that have minimum amount outstanding of $500 million and have at least one year remaining to maturity. Inflation-linked bonds and T-bills are not eligible. The resulting portfolio is weighted by market value and rebalanced monthly.
