This fund operates passively, focusing its investments on debt instruments issued by sovereign nations within emerging markets or entities linked to those governments. The selection criteria for its underlying index stipulate that only U.S. dollar-denominated bonds are considered. Furthermore, eligible securities must have an aggregate principal amount outstanding of at least $500 million and retain a minimum of one year until their maturity date. Securities such as inflation-linked bonds and short-term treasury bills are explicitly excluded from consideration. The portfolio is constructed with weights determined by market value and is systematically rebalanced on a monthly basis.
