This fund dedicates a substantial majority—at least 80%—of its total assets to financial instruments that are either explicitly guaranteed or otherwise backed by the United States government, its various agencies, or associated entities. These investments primarily comprise U.S. dollar-denominated bonds and other forms of debt, which may also be accessed through derivative contracts. Additionally, the fund has the option to invest in mortgage-backed securities (MBS) originating from federal agencies and instrumentalities; however, it's important to note that these specific MBS may not always carry the full faith and credit backing of the U.S. government.
