It also facilitates mergers and acquisitions, provides restructuring advice, manages both initial and secondary public offerings, arranges institutional private placements, offers asset management, and engages in equity securities trading. The Wealth Management division focuses on providing personalized financial planning and tax services. Its Auction and Liquidation segment specializes in the orderly disposal of assets for retail stores, as well as wholesale and industrial businesses. Financial Consulting delivers expert guidance in bankruptcy, forensic accounting, litigation support, operational management, real estate consulting, and comprehensive valuation and appraisal services. The Principal Investments-Communications segment manages a portfolio of communication-related ventures, notably offering consumer internet access through United Online (under the NetZero and Juno brands), Voice over IP (VoIP) services via magicJack, and mobile phone services and devices through Marconi Wireless.
