This fund primarily invests at least 80% of its total net assets—including any capital acquired through borrowing for investment purposes—in businesses that fit a specific market capitalization profile. These target companies are defined as those whose market value (calculated by multiplying their outstanding shares by their share price) falls within the typical range of firms found in either the S&P MidCap 400 Index or the Russell Midcap Value Index at the point of purchase.
