This fund aims to primarily mirror the performance of its underlying index. To achieve this, it allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets (and any borrowed funds) to either the actual securities within that index or to financial instruments designed to replicate its returns. The specific index it tracks is not the entire S&P SmallCap 600®, but rather a focused subset. This subset comprises companies from the S&P SmallCap 600® that demonstrate the most compelling "value" attributes. These value characteristics are quantitatively assessed using three key financial ratios: a company's book value, earnings, and sales, all relative to its share price. Additionally, investors should note that this is a non-diversified fund, meaning it may hold more concentrated positions in fewer securities.
