This fund's primary objective is to achieve capital growth. Ordinarily, it commits a substantial portion (at least 80%) of its net assets to common stocks of U.S.-based consumer goods corporations. Additionally, it allocates capital to derivative instruments, mainly composed of futures agreements and options contracts tied to individual securities, other futures, and broad stock market indices. The portfolio may also hold a significant allocation in shares of consumer products businesses with small to medium market capitalizations.
