To accomplish this, it allocates at least 80% of its net assets, supplemented by any borrowed funds for investment purposes, to financial instruments that collectively possess economic characteristics similar to those found in the U.S. and Canadian high-yield bond markets, or directly into high-yield debt securities. The primary methods for securing this exposure to the high-yield bond market involve investments in credit default swaps, swaps referencing ETFs, and bond futures.
