This fund's primary objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation. Under typical conditions, it allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to equity securities of consumer goods companies listed on U.S. exchanges. The fund also utilizes derivative instruments, predominantly futures contracts and options that are linked to individual securities, other futures, and stock market indices. Additionally, it has the discretion to commit a significant portion of its investments to shares of consumer product businesses with small to mid-range market capitalizations.
