Under ordinary market circumstances, this fund allocates a significant majority—specifically, at least 80%—of its total assets (including any capital obtained through borrowing for investment) to stocks issued by companies with smaller market values. Its portfolio will predominantly consist of common shares. The fund's management team identifies "small-capitalization companies" as those whose market size, at the point of purchase, is either consistent with or analogous to the firms featured in its designated benchmark, the Russell 2000® Value Index.
