The Invesco STOXX Europe 600 Optimised Technology UCITS ETF Acc aims to closely match the total net return performance of its benchmark, the STOXX Europe 600 Optimised Technology Index (referred to as the "Reference Index"), after accounting for its operational fees. This Reference Index is designed as a tool for investors to track technology firms within the broader STOXX Europe 600 Index, specifically those offering enhanced liquidity suitable for both buying and selling strategies. It encompasses companies from 17 European nations, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. To achieve its investment objective, the fund primarily holds a selection of equities that typically generate the majority of its returns, though this portfolio's composition usually differs from that of the Reference Index. The fund also utilizes unfunded swap contracts with approved counterparties. These agreements involve the counterparty exchanging with the fund any difference between the returns of the Reference Index and those of the fund's equity holdings. This method is employed to ensure a more precise and consistent alignment with the Reference Index's performance than could be achieved through physical asset replication alone. This ETF operates as a passively managed, index-tracking fund. Consequently, an investment represents the acquisition of units in the fund itself, rather than direct ownership of the underlying assets it holds.
