The Advisor Services segment furnishes custodial, trading, banking, and administrative support services to independent financial advisors, catering to both retirement businesses and corporate retirement brokerage needs. This includes access to brokerage accounts facilitating trading in equities, fixed income, options, futures, and foreign exchange, as well as margin lending. Cash management facilities are also available, featuring third-party certificates of deposit. Clients can access both proprietary and external mutual funds, supported by full mutual fund trading and clearing capabilities. The segment also offers a variety of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), both those managed internally and from other providers. Additionally, Advisor Services delivers comprehensive advisory solutions, including professionally managed portfolios of internal and third-party mutual funds and ETFs, separately managed accounts, bespoke personal financial guidance for customized portfolios, and expert planning and portfolio management. Its banking product suite encompasses checking and savings accounts, first-lien residential mortgage loans, home equity lines of credit, and pledged asset lines. Trust services are also provided, featuring custody, personal trust reporting, and administrative trustee functions.
