The Columbia Contrarian Core Fund generally allocates at least 80% of its total net assets, encompassing any borrowed funds, to common equity holdings. Furthermore, under typical market conditions, a minimum of 80% of its net assets are invested in U.S.-based companies with significant market capitalizations, generally exceeding $2 billion. The fund's manager targets these U.S. firms specifically because they are believed to be undervalued, while also offering solid prospects for sustained growth and recurring income. The fund also retains the option to dedicate up to 20% of its net assets to non-U.S. securities.
