The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight UCITS ETF Acc is designed to mirror the net total return performance of its benchmark, the S&P 500 Equal Weight Index (referred to as the "Reference Index"), after accounting for applicable fees. This Reference Index comprises all companies found in the standard S&P 500, but crucially, it assigns an equal weighting to each constituent security, rather than weighting them based on their float-adjusted market capitalization. This approach aims to provide a size-neutral reflection of the US large-cap equity market, encompassing approximately 80% of the available market's total value. The index undergoes rebalancing on a quarterly basis. To achieve its objective, the fund primarily employs a physical replication strategy, striving to acquire and hold, as far as feasible, all the securities of the Reference Index in their designated weightings. The fund's holdings are subsequently rebalanced in parallel with the Reference Index's own schedule. This ETF operates under a passive management framework. Investing in this fund means acquiring units in a passively managed, index-tracking investment vehicle, rather than obtaining direct ownership of the underlying assets held within the fund.
