Under typical market conditions, this fund primarily channels a significant portion—at least 80% of its net asset value, augmented by any funds acquired through borrowing for investment—into the equity securities of companies characterized by a small market capitalization. Furthermore, it is mandated to invest a minimum of 40% of its net assets (inclusive of borrowed investment capital) in instruments issued by non-U.S. entities or in holdings that offer exposure to such international markets.
