This ETF seeks to mirror the total return performance of the Bloomberg U.S. Treasury 3-7 Year Index, after accounting for all associated fees. Income is distributed to investors every three months. The underlying index tracks the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated, fixed-rate, nominal debt instruments issued by the U.S. Treasury, provided they have maturities ranging from three to seven years. It explicitly excludes inflation-linked bonds, floating-rate bonds, STRIP bonds, and Treasury bills. The index undergoes rebalancing on a monthly basis. The fund's portfolio managers utilize sophisticated modelling tools and techniques to acquire and hold a carefully selected subset of the index's securities. This sampling approach is designed to accurately represent the characteristics of the entire index, aiming to replicate its performance as closely as possible while simultaneously reducing the operational costs typically associated with full replication strategies. This is a passively managed fund, meaning its objective is to track an index rather than actively select investments. Consequently, an investment in this ETF represents the acquisition of units in the fund itself, not direct ownership of the underlying assets held within its portfolio.
