Under typical market conditions, at least 80% of the fund's net assets, augmented by any funds acquired through borrowing for investment purposes, will be allocated to debt instruments. The primary holdings will consist of U.S. corporate and government fixed-income securities, ranging from investment-grade to speculative (junk bond) ratings. This encompasses a variety of specific instruments, such as asset-backed securities, mortgage dollar rolls, mortgage-backed securities, and those directly issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government and its associated agencies or instrumentalities.
