This Fund operates with a passive, indexing investment strategy, physically acquiring securities to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Corporate – United States Dollar Index 1-3 Year. Its objective is to closely mirror the capital and income returns of this benchmark by investing in a representative selection of its constituent bonds. The Index itself is comprised of a broad range of fixed-rate, US dollar-denominated corporate bonds, which typically possess maturities of one to three years and are generally considered investment-grade. The Fund retains the flexibility to invest, to a minor degree, in bonds not part of the Index, provided their risk and return characteristics are highly similar to those within the benchmark.
