This fund primarily aims for capital appreciation by investing in common stocks of smaller companies that the advisor identifies as having growth potential. A small-capitalization company, for the fund's purposes, is defined as one with a market value not exceeding $2 billion at the time of purchase. Under typical market conditions, at least 80% of the fund's net assets, combined with any borrowed funds used for investment, will be allocated to common equities of these small-cap enterprises.
