The Bloomberg MSCI Euro Corporate SRI PAB Index (GTR, EUR) is designed to mirror the performance of a specific segment of the bond market. This segment exclusively comprises euro-denominated corporate bonds that possess an investment-grade credit rating, have a minimum maturity of one year, and feature at least EUR 300 million outstanding per bond. To be eligible for inclusion, companies must also achieve an MSCI ESG rating of BBB or higher and an MSCI ESG Impact Monitor score exceeding 1. A key feature of the index is its commitment to decarbonization, targeting an initial 50% reduction in absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions relative to its broader universe, followed by a continuous annual 7% reduction trajectory. Bonds from companies involved in activities such as alcohol, tobacco, gambling, adult entertainment, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), nuclear power, civilian firearms, or military weapons (which includes mines, cluster bombs, and chemical weapons) are strictly excluded.
