This ETF aims to mirror the performance of the Bloomberg MSCI Global Aggregate Sustainable and SRI Currency Neutral Index. This particular index seeks to reflect the returns of a global bond market comprising various debt instruments: government treasury bonds, government-related debt, corporate bonds, and securitised debt. It offers extensive diversification, including bonds from both developed and emerging markets, denominated in an array of eligible currencies. To qualify for inclusion, bonds must have a minimum maturity period of one year. Furthermore, the issuing entities must satisfy strict ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria, specifically an MSCI ESG rating of BBB or higher and an MSCI ESG Controversy score of 1 or more. Conversely, the index explicitly excludes bonds from companies engaged in specific activities: alcohol, tobacco, gambling, adult entertainment, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), nuclear power, civilian firearms, conventional weapons, nuclear weapons, controversial weapons, and certain military weapons, as detailed in the index's exclusion guidelines. The index also employs a neutral reweighting approach across currency, sector, and maturity profiles.
