Description

This ETF is structured to deliver long-term capital appreciation by closely tracking, net of its operating costs, the performance of a specific index. This benchmark, which BlackRock Canada selects at its discretion, measures the Canadian dollar-hedged returns of small-capitalization U.S. equities. A core objective is also to minimize currency risk by hedging any exposure to U.S. dollars back into Canadian dollars as much as possible. Presently, the S&P SmallCap 600 Index (CAD-Hedged) is the designated benchmark for this fund.
