The MSCI USA Communication Services 20-35 Custom Index is formulated to replicate the performance of a particular segment of the market. This segment is made up of prominent and mid-sized American corporations that belong to the Communication Services industry, identified according to the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). The index's constituents are weighted based on their available share capitalisation (free-float adjusted market capitalization). However, strict concentration limits are in place: no single corporate group can exceed 35% of the index's total weight, and the weight of other individual companies is capped at 20%.
