This index tracks the performance of large and mid-sized U.S. companies that exhibit robust environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices and demonstrate lower carbon emissions relative to their industry peers. To maintain stringent sustainability and ethical criteria, several types of entities are systematically excluded. These include companies associated with controversial, civilian, or nuclear weapons, or tobacco. Additionally, businesses with the lowest MSCI ESG Rating of 'CCC' or those that are unrated are filtered out. The index also omits companies deriving revenue from thermal coal, oil sands extraction, or military defense weapons, as well as any issuer with a "Red" MSCI ESG Impact Monitor score below 1. The composition of the index is reviewed and updated every three months.
