The fund principally directs its investments towards equity holdings, both within the United States and abroad. Its international stock exposure can include securities from developing economies. Additionally, the fund is permitted to allocate capital to various debt instruments. These fixed-income investments may consist of U.S. government Treasury notes and bonds, corporate debt with investment-grade ratings, convertible debt securities, and higher-yielding, lower-rated "junk" bonds.
