This fund commits at least 80% of its net assets, along with any investment-related borrowings, to securities issued by companies in emerging market nations. Its core investments are primarily in equities and depositary receipts. The fund seeks out issuers that its managers believe offer strong potential for growth in earnings or revenue. While it has the flexibility to invest in companies of any market capitalization, it may allocate a substantial portion of its assets to small and mid-capitalization issuers. Notably, its common stock holdings also include China A-shares.
