This fund primarily allocates at least 80% of its investable assets (which include net assets plus any borrowings for investment) to equity and equity-related securities. These investments are concentrated in companies based in, or with significant economic ties to, developing nations. The fund manager considers countries classified as either "emerging" or "frontier" markets by MSCI to fall within this category. The portfolio is not restricted by the market capitalization size of the companies it invests in.
