The Allspring Core Plus Bond Fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its net capital to various fixed-income instruments. A notable portion, up to 35% of its total assets, may be directed towards debt securities rated below investment-grade. Additionally, the fund is permitted to invest as much as 25% of its overall holdings in international debt, which encompasses obligations from emerging markets as well as securities denominated in foreign currencies.
